You're young, visually impaired and you'd like to travel abroad, either as a student or as a tourist, but you'd like to get some information before you leave so that you don't arrive on a totally unfamiliar territory. The "Blind Quest" network has been designed for you!
You're visually impaired yourself or sighted and sensible to visual impairment. Whether young or not-so-young anymore, you know well the area where you live and you enjoy sharing its beauties with other people. In that case, you may want to become a "respondant" in the "Blind Quest" network.
"Blind Quest" is designed to be the virtual meeting between young people who wish to help visually impaired young people to travel by providing them with information which they would have greater difficulty to get access to than sighted people.
The enquirers and the respondants register to join the "Blind Quest" service. According to their country or area of destination and to the languages they speak, enquirers using the database have access to the details of this area's respondants, so that they can ask information they need to organise their trip.
What kind of information? Information which the young enquirers need and... which the respondants can provide them with !
