The Beeckman Fund is a Belgian fund dedicated at visually and auditory impaired people within the King Baudouin Foundation. Views has obtained funding from this fund in 2006 for implementing the "Blind Quest" project and more specifically:
- consulting a lawyer to make sure that the project is being developped on a solid basis as concerns the youngsters' security and Views' responsibility
- developping an on-line database and promotional pages of the project
- obtaining the "Blindsurfer" accessibility label for the website and the on-line database
- training a young professional to designing tactile documents and city maps readable by young visually impaired and producing tactile documents about Liège and Louvain-la-Neuve.
