VIEWS' Staff Training

According to the recommendations issued by its General Meeting in February 2005, VIEWS has organised a number of training sessions towards the professionalisation of its staff members.

Past

• Training on dealing with multilinguism
• Being a blind person's guide : practical training
• Reading tactile information : levels 1, 2 and 3 : 3 2-day sessions over a year
• Computer-aided drawing : a training aimed at designing tactile documents
• Training in human relations - staff preparation to the 2006 summer camp

Present

• A practical training for our Belgian volunteers with techniques to guide visually impaired persons

Future

• Training for teaching foreign languages to visually impaired students
