Adapted communication on the youth programs of the European Commission

After working for the young Europeans invited to Belgium in the framework of youth exchanges and EVS's, Loredana and Anca will try this time to address young Belgians wishing to go abroad.

So, they will conduct meetings with young people to inform them about the Youth Programme, to adapt to visual impairment the documents of the Youth Programme, to create promotion tools with young people: a film with audiodescription, a Powerpoint presentation, folders. The objective is to inform Belgian visually impaired young people and encourage them to get involved in Youth projects.

And of course, all those tools will be adapted to visual impairment and easy to translate, so that they can be used by all partners of VIEWS and the National Agencies of the Youth Programme.

Meetings will also be organised between visually impaired young people who are interested to get involved and those who are already involved in European projects.

Our project title is: Youth VI in Action> !!!

It will be realised in several phases :

• conducting information sessions on the programme Youth in Action as well as on other existing opportunities for visually impaired young people;
• adapting and creating promotion material adapted to visually impaired young people on the programme "Youth in Action" ;
• organising meetings with European volunteers who can speak about what it's like to live abroad, to work in mainstream, to get to know another culture ;
• realising a documentary film ;
• lpresenting the promotion materials in a press conference;
• organising a "dinner in the dark" ;
• and so much more !
